WoW, this is a great product. May 13, 2009 By Chance (East Coast) 9 out of 9 found this review helpful
One little drop of this applied my medium length damp hair; then blow drying made it soft and shiny. I am a senior citizen and have not had my hair look so great for decades.
Old Name - MOROCCAN MIRACLE OIL March 13, 2009 Marti Hall-davis 7 out of 7 found this review helpful
This product is made by Moroccan Gold LLC - and I highly recommend it!
I have long curly hair that tends to dry-out and frizz. This conditioner (applied to either wet or dry hair) helps retain the natural curl while adding deep shine and hydration. I recently had several natrual hair extensions added to the back of my length. Working this product through the extension has helped retain their "first day" texture. I have used this product daily for 6 weeks...and the extensions are healthy! (That is how long the 4 oz. bottle lasted). I Paid $40. for this small bottle in a salon...the price here is great! There are other Moroccan Oil products on the market....this one is worthy of my highest recommendation.
Nothing but Perfection! May 10, 2010 D. Butler (Memphis, TN) 6 out of 7 found this review helpful
This Argan hair oil is nothing short of amazing. I'm a product junkie with thick/frizzy hair, and have NEVER experienced a hair product like this before. I have tried this formula both ways: on wet and on dry hair. Using it on dry hair gives it a bit of a shine...and even a little body. In fact, up until yesterday the results I achieved by putting it on my dry hair weren't even worth me leaving a review.
Yesterday, I tried something different. I put a little bit (a dime size) in the palm of my hand both when I shampooed and conditioned my hair. I let the conditioner/argan oil set in my hair for about 10 minutes (also combed it through the ends). It instantly changed the texture...felt like silk as I rinsed it out. Combed it straight, sat under the dryer for 30 min. After that I put a dime size in before blow drying it (no other products) for about 8-10 minutues tops (the technique of blow drying isn't to dry it....but the blow dryer infuses the oil even more into the hair strands while straightening it a bit). Use a high speed hand-held blow dryer that'll protect the hair (I use a Pibbs...see my review).
Then I flat ironed it (with my FHI flat iron)...and oh my God, I achieved the same bouncy, shiny, soft, no frizzes, smell good hair effect I would have had if I'd visited my salon. I now know my hairdresser's secret...they put this stuff in their shampoo (not a lot) and it makes an incredible difference. I could tell my husband loved it as well. At work today, I've received a ton of compliments from co-workers. Now, I can do my own hair and look fabulous until my next salon visit.
Disadvantages: None. It smells great (for days), a lot goes a long way, makes your hair healthy, protects it from heat, a fantastic leave-in, a great conditioner, doesn't leave a build-up (I use it everyday), isn't oily/greasy (it's fully absorbed by the hair strands)...so if you're looking for a wet-look shine..this isn't it. The hair absorbs it, and shines from within..sort of like a healthy glow.
This is one of the very few products that is well worth the price tag. My little bottle has lasted me three months...and I haven't even used half of it (I've used it everyday too - dime size daily usage).
I hope this review helps someone...Enjoy!
Moroccan Miracle Oil is BACK! April 15, 2009 Michelle (laguna beach, ca United States) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
Loved this stuff under their other name. They had to change the name (other company already had something similar First). This is the exact same stuff! Just as GREAT AS EVER! Still a Moroccan Miracle!
Hair is like SILK when used. Cannot keep my hands off of it!
from straw to silk June 8, 2009 K. Hellier 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I have very coarse hair and when I use this product, it feels like pure silk! I love the smell too. It is not flowery or overpowering. It also cuts the drying time. I have had friends try the product and they have all bought it too. Excellent stuff!!
